Our Story
Edmonson Electric was founded by William “Bill” H. Edmonson Sr. after serving in the air-conditioning market in the Tampa Bay area for over a decade. When the business first was established, Edmonson concentrated on electrical contracting. After just a few years, the company grew and became known for its excellent service, quality products, and determined sales effort. Simultaneously, the Edmonson family grew as well. Soon, more family members joined the business. Terry, Kevin, Michele, and Bill Jr. began to manage day-to-day operations.
As the Florida residential development and building industry continued to evolve, the need for electrical contracting services expanded. Now, Edmonson Electric serves communities in Central and South Florida with offices in Tampa, Kissimmee, Brandon, Land O Lakes, Fort Myers, North Port, Clermont, Ocala and Jacksonville.
